I sometimes worry that people would think that I am what my depression makes me out to be. I wasn't always this chronically sad and negative.

This is why I always make sure that I take my Prozac so that I can bring out a piece of my old happy self when I'm in front of people.

I totally agree. The mood we exude tells a lot about our position in the universe, our mindset. I sometimes use emotions as signal whenever I lose sense of the good attitude I want to be in awareness of.
